Noble Technologies Inc. was a MA corporation that I started back in
October of 1995. The company's sole purpose was to employ me and to
facilitate my work as a contract Software Engineer - and it served that
purpose well until August of 2000.
In June of 2000, Network Appliance bought
Orca Systems, the company I was contracting for. My friends and
managers at Orca had been trying to get me to join for years, and now
transformed into Network Appliance, Orca was finally able to attract
me to a permanent job. (What can I say... I ran out of reasons not to
join. Netapp was just too good of a company to say no to.) So, on
August 28, 2000, after nine years of working as a contractor, I took a
permanent job with the Sunnyvale CA based company: Network Appliance, Inc., and closed
Noble Technologies.
Nobletec.com will continue to exist as my personal web server, but
I am now in the employment of Network Appliance. For more information
about my profession life, please see my resume at
www.nobletec.com/john/resume. But please, no email or phone calls
with potential job offers. I am very happy at Network Appliance and
plan to stay here for at least five years.
